High Schools seniors and juniors ages 16-17 years old with parental consent

All training materials and training is provided free of charge. Due to COVID restrictions, All training is 100% virtual at this time. We will host live sessions via Zoom every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm-7:30pm. More information will be provided during the interview process based on the training track selected.

All courses and events are held in a virtual format to ensure safety. Timelines can be adjusted on an individual basis based on individual needs, in response to the challenges faced due to COVID-19.  More information will be provided during orientation.

The intent of this program is to help train individuals impacted by the economic downturn or to support professionals wanting to increase their skills. Applicants will submit resumes and application documents, including an skills Assessment, to verify their eligibility for this program. A round of interviews will identify the applicants who will move forward into final selection. Final selection will be done by an Advisory Board comprised of individuals from businesses and experts in the industry.

The apprenticeship program includes over 100 hours of asynchronous instruction and hundreds of practice-based assessments, which will help you simulate real-world IT and cyber related support scenarios that are critical for success in the workplace. 

Successful applicants will receive an email from the Program Coordinator with their acceptance material within 2 weeks of completing their interview.

Job placement assistance for program graduates

Industry recognized, world class instruction

A list of hardware and system requirements will be provided during orientation based on the certification track selected by the Apprentices.

Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of $350 for the first 6 months of training if they complete at least 20 hours of training each month. Once they receive at least one certification they will be paid $18.50 per hour for up to 20 hours a week and receive $500 bonus for each certification they receive.

This training will help students break into a new field or enable upskillers to grow in their field. Students will receive the following to enhance career preparation and ensure they are ready to connect with employers: 

  • Ongoing access to course materials for extra practice and skills development 
  • Technical mentoring and ongoing learner support 
  • Soft skills training and career support  
  • Webinars that address relevant topics and changes in the world of IT and cybersecurity
